Elected Officials Steering Committee

The Council Creek Regional Trail Elected Officials Steering Committee (CCRT EOSC) is guiding trail development. This committee of elected officials and high-level staff from jurisdictions along the trail and agencies with interest in the trail work together to focus on:

  • Preliminary engineering and design of the trail, currently underway
  • Final design (starting in 2024) and construction
  • Tracking and securing more local, regional, state and federal funding
  • Support of trail development
  • Decisions about long-term trail management

In addition, development is guided by a Technical Advisory Committee (agency staff) and a Stakeholder Advisory Committee (community representatives).
